Abstract
A high-sensitivity, compact set-up, which enables the precise measurement of low concentration of gas, based on Microstructured Optic Fiber (MOF) was developed. Some of MOFs were designed especially for this research purpose and functioned as the gas cells of the apparatus during the spectroscopic measurements. Proposed technique allowed reducing the total size of the set-up (portability) and the gas sample volume to 0.01 cc. In the case of fibers’ mass production, presented research project may lead to low cost, high-sensitivity and real-time measurement system.
