Abstract :
In this paper, a new robust control approach-variable structure control for a clas of multiinput nonlinear systems with time-delays is proposed. And the result of unconditional stabilization of closed-loop control system is obtained. The variable structure control approach proposed in this paper has the following advantages. Firstly, with this method the whole design task is decomposed into two phases of design for two isolated lower order subsystems, and is greatly reduced. Secondly, the system has invariance in the presence of parameter uncertainties external disturbanceafter the sliding motion occurs. The result of the paper is also suit to the invariant linear systems with time-delays. In the last place, to support the conclusion of the paper a numeral simulation example is given.
