  • Abstract
Fatty liver refers to the accumulation of intense fat in liver cells. It is known that liver cirrhosis could develop in %10-40 of adult patients suffering from liver inflammation due to extreme fat deposition in liver. For the diagnosis fatty liver, ultrasound images liver are visually compared to parenchyma tissue of kidney. The condition of fatty liver is classified little fatty or much fatty...etc as related experience of doctor that done US imaging. This method is rather subjective as it is purely limited by the experience of the radiologist. In this study, we aim at determining as more optimum and quantitative the grade of liver fat applying image processing methods on US liver images.
