Abstract :
In this study; the optic disc determination and blood vessels extraction for hypertensive on fundus image are carried out. For the extraction of vessels edge detection methods such as Sobel and Kirsch are used and 2 dimensional multiscale gabor filters applied and their results are compared. These actions are applied to the right and left hypertensive fundus images which are taken from Gevher Nesibe Medical Faculty and Research Hospital patients. A better result was taken from 2 dimensional multiscale gabor filter rather than edge detection operators because vessels have different width and intensity on fundus image.
