Abstract
This paper is focused to the investigation and analysis of harmful interference to the transfer properties and error rate in the LonWorks power line communication systems. Investigation is concerned to the interference between PLC modem and testing signals which are similar to signals produced by switched power supplies or for example fluorescent lamps. The results of a measurement of the transfer rate and the bit error rate are presented.
