Abstract :
Information for system design and evaluation inputs was collected from the experienced expert of thyroid diagnostics. Standardized was number of inputs and verbal expression of output diagnostic decisions (diagnosis recommendation) which would be offered by the system. Then set of basic diagnostic decisions was established. One of them was in detail explained, modeled in rules and graphically described. When the measure of detachment of decision and the general limpidity of the whole system is increased using the expert system then the endeavour lead to experimental diagnostic system creation in graphical environment suitable for this work. Creation of a part of knowledge base represented by the rules was described and the knowledge base was presented in graphical representation form of Petri net and also its diagnostic evaluation.
