  • Abstract
    A chain of subwavelength sized holes in a gold film is used to launch surface plasmon polaritons. We investigate how the field pattern close to the chain evolves into diffraction orders in the far field. SPP are a powerful tool in the quest to build optical components at the nanoscale.
