  • Abstract
By using microwave energy we avoid the main disadvantage of the present technology for producing electric insulations of condenser type; this disadvantage is exposing the deposited insulation layers at supplementary thermal cycles, layers that had already been thermal treated. This fact results by comparing the temperature values of the insulation layers between which a layer of conductor paint has been introduced, the first stratus being thermal treated with microwaves in a previous intervention. Microwave thermal processing of the new deposited insulating layer emphasizes the electromagnetic screen role that the conductor paint layer has in limiting the dissipation zone of the microwave energy only in the superior isolation layer.
