Abstract
In this paper, we propose a robust non-linear controller based on a second order sliding mode technique named super-twisting method. The control scheme is proposed to control, in direct form, the electromagnetic torque and stator reactive power of a wound rotor induction generator connected to an infinity bus and coupled with a wind turbine across a gear box. The performance of the designed controller is validated through simulations.
