Abstract
A multimedia conference system is proposed and evaluated in this paper. The system allows a group of users to a conduct meeting in real time. Participants can jointly view and edit relevant multimedia information, including text, graphics, and still images distributed throughout the network. Participants can also communicate simultaneously by voice to discuss the information they are sharing. The performance of a multimedia conference system is analyzed and evaluated. The experiments show that the system has very good performance under various load conditions.
