Abstract :
Serious virtual worlds provide more than just entertainment, they are used perform various tasks. With this in mind, we should revisit the user interactions and related devices and techniques in order to achieve the best performance possible. Therefore, we should offer some affordances to take advantages of these new developments. We consider context and context awareness to help modify applications interface and interactions in order to match the tasks users are currently performing. We explore how to adapt to the context by switching input device and interaction technique. We present the framework developed to realize these affordances and discuss the addressed challenges.
