Abstract :
Most sensors and actuators require calibration and linearization before they can be used reliably in a measurement or control system. Often digital signal processing is used for this. As an alternative, a bipolar analog signal processing circuit is presented which can be used to program offset, gain, second and third order non-linearity of a transducer with an 8-bit accuracy, while maintaining a large analog signal bandwidth.
