Abstract :
Numerical research of radiation from circumferential slots on a conducting cylinder is presented in this paper. We propose a simple and fast method of analysis that includes the effect of the coupling between the slots. It is based on Fourier transform of a sum of radiated fields calculated for each slot. Results obtained from the method satisfactory agree with results of full-wave method. Radiation patterns in two orthogonal planes were analyzed for different antennas geometries and operating frequencies.
