Abstract
Starting from the correlating matched-filter representation of a pattern recognition synchronous Little-Hopfield neural network, a new structure based on a mismatched filter is proposed. The main improvement is expected to be achieved thanks to the ability of the mismatched filter to suppress self-clutter, i.e. side lobes successfully. The base model with matched filter is analyzed as well.
