  • Abstract
    The paper addresses the problem of the cylindrical gyrotropic waveguide analysis by an electrodynamical model. The technique of semi-automatic extraction of the dispersion characteristics by the use of single-layer perceptron neural network is proposed. Presented waveguide analysis algorithm is divided in four stages: initialisation of system parameters, evaluation of transcendental linear dispersion equation system, extraction of dispersion characteristics and waveguide broadband width evaluation.
