Abstract
Oscilloscopes are typically calibrated using special signals for each parameter. A common method using only sine wave signals and analysis of sampled data is proposed to calibrate all major parameters of a digital sampling oscilloscope, greatly simplifying the calibration procedure while attaining higher lower uncertainties. The procedure can also be fully automated as the readout from the oscilloscope screen is no longer needed.
