Abstract
Over a very short period, the Internet has penetrated all areas of human life, with a particularly broad application in business. Modern managers are therefore expected to possess not only traditional skills, but also up-to-date knowledge and skills in ICT usage, including those referring to the Internet. In this paper we aimed to establish the extent and the way in which Croatian managers of different age, gender and educational background rely on the Internet. With this aim in mind, we conducted a survey on a sample of 290 managers located in Eastern Croatia. Within this survey, they also assessed the usefulness of information obtained over the Internet.
