  • Abstract
E-learning has made considerable progress in the last decades allowing different kinds of adaptation to the student profile or the learning objectives. But few E-learning standards take accessibility into account, making learners with disabilities find difficulties taking full advantage of E-learning platforms. Besides, most E-learning platforms present tests in a traditional format regardless of their known limitations, more important for applicants with special needs. However, it could be possible to integrate adaptive and more accessible E-testing functionalities in the E-learning platforms. This paper discusses the process of developing such an adaptive testing approach, which could be integrated in the Moodle platform, by presenting some of its principles, architectural elements and algorithms.
