  • Abstract
In this paper we modeled a pedestrian urban zone using an analytical propagation model based on a 2D ray tracing approach. In the model, multiple reflections along the side walls and ground reflections are used for path gain prediction. Two typical pedestrian zone scenarios are modeled. In one, the street is empty and the ground reflection has maximum contribution, and in the other, the street is crowded and the ground reflection is semiblocked or totally blocked. Both situations we modeled with 4 and 6 ray in ray tracing method, and both models shows similar tendency in same situations.
