Development of electronic forms and a Java parser for processing data about University teaching stuff in accreditation process

In this paper we present procedures and software development related to accreditation process at the University of Belgrade. The University consists of 31 schools, with loosely coupled organization. Common information system is currently under development. In order to collect data about teaching stuff, we have defined specific tables in Microsoft Excel and developed a parser in Java language that we used to import data from these tables to a database and publish it on the Web. Our experience, problems and results of this process are presented in this paper.
