Abstract :
Target detection is a key application that wireless sensor networks (WSN) support. In order to obtain accurate target detection it is necessary to know the position of all nodes in the network. Therefore positioning algorithms are necessary. This paper aims at evaluating the Maximum Likelihood Estimation algorithm for wireless sensor networks by means of simulation.
