Abstract :
We invented an electrocatalytic chronopotentiometric stripping (CPS) method for the analysis of virtually all proteins at femtomole level. Sensitivity of this method to changes in protein structures was applied in biomedicine. Polysaccharides and ribose at the 3´-end of RNA can be modified by some Os complexes and detected electrochemically directly in the reaction mixture at nanomolar and subnanomolar concentrations.
