Variation of medium voltage cable dielectric properties with temperature and voltage

In this study, dielectric parameters of 12/20 kVrms medium voltage cable assemblies are investigated under different voltage types and various temperature ranges. The impact of temperature upon leakage current, power losses, loss factor and relative permittivity of the test samples are experimentally determined by the laboratory tests. The tests are performed at Fuat Kulunk High Voltage Laboratory of Istanbul Technical University.
