Discrete Hopfield model with graded response (analysis and applications)

The author describes a discrete Hopfield model of neural networks consisting of neurons with graded response and investigates its basic properties. Detailed conditions for stability and convergence to local minima are considered. The results obtained can be easily applied in optimization. A new methodology that improves the quality of solutions obtained by the network calculation is proposed
