Abstract
The paper presents the method for measuring gain and impedance of microstrip patch antennas in GTEM cell. The design procedure of rectangular and circular microstrip antennas at resonant frequency of 2.4 GHz is also described. Additionally, the measurement results of impedance for different antenna orientations in GTEM cell are presented. The results of gain measurement were compared with those obtained by FEKO simulation software, theoretical results, and with the results obtained by measurements performed outside of cell using two-antenna method. All compared results showed good agreement.
