Preconference Workshop Summary

Summary form only given. High-level synthesis is increasingly prevalent for producing hardware designs both for fast development cycles as well as high-quality, high-efficiency implementations for highperformance computing. High-level synthesis promises to improve programmer productivity, allow concise algorithm descriptions, reduce design effort, and simplify description and implementation of complex parallel computation models.
