Control of the sideband level and pattern null in time modulated linear arrays

In this study, an approach for the control of the maximum sideband level and pattern null of time-modulated linear arrays is presented. In this approach, with sideband level suppression process, pattern null is desired to be below a certain level for all harmonic frequencies while the fundamental radiation remains constant and for this purpose a two step optimization procedure is defined. A representative result is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the approach.
