Abstract :
This paper deals with the parameters identification of heater model, which is a part of the laboratory object Armfield PCT40. Dynamical behavior of the heater is described by delay differential equation and equation parameters are obtained via classical identification technique implemented in Matlab Identification Toolbox and also with using a graphical method in time domain. The obtained models can be used for design and implementation of control system for temperature control of the heater in object PCT40. A simple bang-bang control algorithm is implemented in Matlab/Simulink to control of water temperature. Obtained results are presented as well. The fractional-order control strategy is proposed as an idea for further work.
