Abstract
This paper is concerned with the problem of stabilization for discrete-time systems with time-varying delays and the presentation of an improved version of the state feedback control design method. In the spirit of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional application the delayed-dependent stability condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The result giving a sufficient condition for stabilization of the time-delay system is illustrated with a numerical example to note reduced conservatism in the system structure.
