Modeling of collaboration social network including temporal attributes

In this paper we analyze basic approaches for modeling of collaboration networks and propose some new extensions in weighting ties among event participants. One of the extensions is based on the idea of aging of the ties among collaborators. Classical as well as newly proposed approaches to weighting of ties in collaboration networks are experimentally evaluated. We performed two experiments with real data set and as a reference we used data gathered from peoples´ opinions expressed in targeted inquiries.
