Abstract
In recent time business opportunities have been opened by increasing availability of high-speed Internet/mobile access and increased capabilities of mobile devices. These opportunities are enabled by open IT development platforms including access to typical Telco related equipment. Given this increasingly competitive and rapidly changing business environment, Service Delivery Framework (SDF) has been developed with main objectives to enable CSPs (Communication Service Providers) to go after new revenues and introduce new business models, to supply them with the technology needed to introduce new applications and services as quickly as possible and with the technology that reduces the cost of developing, integrating and operating service delivery platforms and applications. The key principles of the SDF, its architecture and blueprints are introduced in the paper. In addition, this paper discusses different deployment options and evolutionary approach for Service Delivery Platform, based on the existing network setup, requirements and benefits for the CSP.
