Abstract
Following the liberalization of telecommunications markets worldwide, it became clear that the existing and new operators would find themselves in the situation of competing for their market position primarily by providing new services and attract larger number of users. To achieve this it is necessary to control telecommunication network performances in a way of balancing end-user demands for less charging rate and operator´s demands for higher revenue. The main goal of our research is to analyze how various methods of dynamic traffic routing can affect the performances of telecommunications network in which several telecommunications operators coexist. For the purpose of this research, we developed the original software, which main task is the traffic simulation in telecommunication network with the possibility to choose an appropriate combination of dynamic routing method and interconnection charging method. In this paper, one of many possible analyses of network performances under different routing methods in interconnected telecommunication network will be shown.
