  • Abstract
It is hard to speak about "bad" and "good" sound. It is as well hard to speak about one-dimensional values of measuring sound and/or sound environment. The attributions of the sound environment vary - it can be expressed as good, live, natural, loud, pleasant etc and the psychological effect on an individual are thus important in determining and describing sound environment. A prerequisite for students to enrol the four-year Media Technician and Web Designer secondary school courses is to pass art abilities testing whereas the sound perception is not either an enrolment prerequisite or predictor. This research was aimed at checking the homogeneous quality of hearing abilities in students that comply with the art abilities requirements for the courses. The focus of the research was the multidimensional evaluation of intuitive sound perception. The research was done by means of a questionnaire on the sample consisting of 30 students of Media Technician and Web Designer courses at Graditeljska škola Čakovec (School of Building, Art and Crafts of Čakovec).
