Abstract
This article provides a summary of the Klobuchar model of ionospeheric time-delay, worldwide used in single frequency GNSS receivers. Its flaws, especially poor results during solar maximum and an inability to recognize local-specific variations of ionosphere were stressed. New models and approaches that give better results, such as IRI and NeQuick are presented.
