Abstract :
This paper discusses the implementation of basic entities for FPGA needed for motor control. Implementation was realized in VHDL (Very-high-speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language) and was tested with Altera Cyclone II FPGA (Field-programmable gate array). Designed motor control entities have been experimentally verified on developed prototype of an induction motor drive.
