  • Abstract
    We investigate DQPSK modulation combined with QC-LDPC coding. By applying iterative demodulation and soft-decision decoding, the differential decoding penalty is reduced by 2.05 dB offering an attractive solution for coherent optical systems with soft-decision FEC.
