Chalenges in development of mobile broadband

The development of mobile broadband access is provided through a number of recommendations and decisions of international and European institutions that developing this area of electronic communications see as solving the problem of digital divide, but also as an element of economic development through various forms of production and service activities. The paper presents a section on recommendations and decisions of the European Union, reviews procedures of spectrum auction in Europe, reviews models of development of broadband access in Europe and the possibilities of mobile broadband in the Republic of Serbia.
