  • Abstract
    In this paper the application of M-step 4-state Markov multipath channel model for outdoor-to-outdoor and outdoor-to-indoor Tx/Rx scenarios is discussed. The above-mentioned Markov model was initially proposed for the indoor-to-indoor scenario and for the receiver in motion, while in this paper the case of the stationary receiver is considered. In addition, the model is developed and verified in real conditions, using operating outdoor base stations of UMTS mobile system.
