  • Abstract
    The 3G networks do not cope with the increase in traffic and throughput demands. LTE provides better capabilities but the forecast is that in the next 2 to 3 years this will not suffice. In this paper we propose a revolutionary 5G network candidate that guarantees data rates in the order of 1Gbps. We present the architecture and basic parameters of the WOC system and make a coverage comparison between LTE 800 and the 5G proposed network.
