  • Abstract
    In this paper on the specific case is in detail described a techno-economic study of GPON and FTTC/VDSL access networks. Economic indicators, as well as the risk associated with the implementation of both scenarios are obtained using the discounted cash flow and Monte Carlo analyses. Further, the assessment of the moment when operator should expand network from the dense urban area in urban area is performed by a real option analysis.
