Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the research that was aimed to examine the possibilities for applying multifractal theory in detection of coherent reflections in the initial part of the room impulse response. The proposed method and its modifications are using distribution of Holder exponent for detection of coherent reflections. Obtained results confirm assumption that the impulse response signal has a characteristic of self-similarity, and that it can be used to analyze room impulse response.
