Abstract :
The popularity of new methods for triage measurement of hearing loss comes from the fact that they respect the real conditions of speech communication, i.e. voice communication in noisy environments. Due to the use of speech as a stimulus, for each language special test sentences must be created. If the test should include different populations, then a separate test sentence should be created for each population. In the Life Activities Advancement Center the test sentences for triage measurement of hearing loss by QuickSIN method are created. There are separate test sentences for adults and for children. The paper discusses problems associated with the creation of test sentences for the children hearing loss measurement. Special emphasis is given to determine the ratio S/N at which the intelligibility of keywords is 50%.
