Abstract :
This paper presents implementation guidelines for application that enables digital TV receiver, running on Linux operating system, to connect to internet protocol based networks. The proposed solution has support for both wired and wireless connection interfaces. In addition to guidelines of possible software solutions for maintenance of network connectivity this paper also discusses some problems that can occur during the development.
