An example of monitoring and managing computer networks using flow technology

The paper presents a proposal of a computer network management solutions based on qualitative analysis and monitoring of network traffic and mechanisms for managing network devices. For the traffic analysis was used FLOW technology, and information from the collector to collect FLOW data are the basis for informing the administrator or run some automated procedures for managing network devices. The paper presents some solutions and procedures that were implemented in the academic network of the University of Montenegro.
