Abstract
In this paper a design and a realization of an equal-gain combining (EGC) diversity receiver of the quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) signal on Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) hardware are presented. Error-probability performance of the receiver in the presence of constant frequency offset of the reference carrier and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) are obtained. These experimental results are compared to the ones obtained by a simulation and their good matching is found.
