Medical informatics system for Romanian healthcare system

This article approaches the main challenges of the medical field in ensuring efficient and safe exchange of electronic healthcare records. It portrays a description of the proposed experimental model and of the applied medical informatics standards. Healthcare information should be available at a national level. The main issues are the interoperability (especially semantic interoperability) between systems and the security of data.
