Abstract :
New frequency hopping synchronization scheme based on real-time clock is proposed. Flow diagram of the synchronization process is presented. As performance measures of the scheme we use probability of false synchronization start and probability of synchronization. Expressions for both performance measures are derived and numerical results are presented. Simulation results in radio channel with high bit error rate are given. Hardware realization of the proposed scheme, where the synchronization process is implemented in micro controller within embedded hardware platform, is presented and verified.
