Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a passive stereo system that for obtain 3-D faces under standard diffused light sources in a single-shot. The system ensures to obtain high quality 3-D models in sub-millimeter accurate. The proposed system consists of three 5Mp cameras and two diffused standard light sources and also the system is designed to allow to increase the number of cameras. Technically the system obtains the disparity maps with using a NCC (Normalized Cross-Correlation) based approach which commonly used in literature. Then, the proposed disparity map refinement, 3-D point cloud and 3-D surface refinement methods are applied to obtain high quality results.
