  • Abstract
It was recently found that neuronal networks contain some significantly recurring wiring patterns, termed “network motifs”. These are believed to be basic building blocks of neural networks and to perform important functional roles in them. Sections of spine growth and shrinkages of the neurons in the communications port is thought to be the effect of memory behavior. In this study we examined long-term and short-term memory functions of a neuronal motif. The motif consists of three neurons which are modelled with single compartment Hodgkin-Huxley neuronal model. The results show that the motif have revealed long-term and short-term memory behavior.
