Abstract :
Large volumes of incoming messages or events - in multiple streams - processing can be time-critical and strategically important. Crucial and often not so simple is the decision making over such data. This paper presents a generalized solution proposal for systems running without interruption (at run-time) based on Complex Event Processing (CEP) - by aspect-oriented approach for specific domain. The functionality of the system is strongly determined by listeners´ implementation and by identification data patterns and their representation in the form of rules. Listeners themselves determine so called message model as a standard set of messages which runs into the CEP engine. Messages are represented by certain events. We assume the use of this method also in other domains. Analogically to the software product-line approach are compared possibilities in implementation listeners to data patterns. Despite certain limitation and expectation of large number of different types of events, the system shows good performance in environmentally oriented applications.
